Capabilities

What GSTExtract Extracts From Your Invoice

GSTIN

Catches typos and structurally invalid GSTINs before they cost you ITC. Checks the format, the state code, the PAN pattern, and the check digit.

Invoice Number & Date

Pulls the invoice number and date regardless of where they sit on the page or which date format the vendor used.

Total Amount

Pulls the invoice total, even on layouts that bury it under shipping, discount, or rounding lines.

CGST, SGST & IGST

Splits the tax block into central, state, and integrated GST — even when the invoice carries multiple line items at different rates.

Batch Processing

Drop in up to 20 invoices at once. You get one Excel sheet back with the iffy rows sorted to the top so you find them first.

Confidence Scoring

A small dot beside each field tells you which ones to double-check before you copy the row into Tally.

Auto-Deleted, Opt-Out Anytime Invoices kept up to 30 days to improve the tool — or opt out. Excel files expire in 1 hour.
No Login Required No signup, no account, no personal tracking. Just upload and extract.
Free for a Limited Time Full extraction with confidence scoring. No hidden limits.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert a GST invoice PDF to Excel?

Drag your invoice PDF onto the upload box at the top of this page and hit Extract. The whole thing takes a few seconds. We pull out the GSTIN, invoice number, date, total, and tax breakdown, hand you back an Excel sheet, and you're done. No account, no installer, no queue.

What data does GSTExtract extract from GST invoices?

The fields that actually matter for your books: supplier name, supplier GSTIN (we verify the checksum, not just the format), invoice number, invoice date, total payable, and the CGST/SGST/IGST breakup. Every field comes with a small confidence dot next to it, so the moment something looks iffy you can spot it without scrolling through a wall of text.

Is GSTExtract free to use?

Yes, free for a limited time. The current cap is five invoices per hour per IP, which we picked to keep automated scrapers off the servers without getting in real users' way. No card, no signup, no email address.

Can I process multiple GST invoices at once?

Up to twenty PDFs in a single batch, yes. They get processed together and you get one Excel sheet back, not twenty. Anything that needs a second look (low-confidence GSTIN, an unusual layout, a missing field) gets sorted to the top of the file so you don't have to scroll for it.

Is my invoice data safe?

By default we keep a copy of your uploaded invoice for up to 30 days to improve and test our extraction, then it's permanently deleted — or tick the opt-out box on the upload form and we keep nothing. The Excel sheet we generate stays for about an hour so you can download it, then it's auto-deleted. We don't keep accounts and don't ask for emails. Full details on the Privacy page.

Which invoice formats are supported?

Anything that started life as a digital PDF — generated by billing software and sent over email. So Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Zomato, Myntra, RedBus, BookMyShow and most of the usual online platforms work fine, as do bills from Tally, Zoho Books, Vyapar and similar tools. Scanned bills or mobile-camera photos of paper invoices don't work in the browser version; those need OCR and we run that path on the command line.
